Shipping Information
Items are usually shipped within two or three business days after placing an order. Orders will be shipped out of Washington State via UPS.
Return/exchange Policy
All returns require a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, which can be obtained by contacting
Customer Service. Any item returned without a RMA number will be returned to the shipper.
All packaging and accessories which were originally shipped with the item from the Synology USA store must be returned to the Synology USA store to be processed for a return. This includes (but not limiting to) original equipment, components, manuals, cables, documentations, screws, packaging material. An item returned for a replacement may be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the Synology USA Store, unless otherwise required by law in the State of Washington.
Products have a fourteen-day return policy, this period will start on the day that UPS has delivered your item.
Items being returned for refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
For Pre-installed Products
All pre-installed products sold from the Synology USA Store have a 2-year warranty from the manufacturer. For more information, please click

For Refurbished Products
All refurbished products sold from the Synology USA Store have a 90-day warranty from the manufacturer. All sales are final with refurbished items. There are no exchange/returns on refurbished items, there are no exceptions for this policy. For technical support, please use the manufacture's
support form. Please note refurbished items may come with cosmetic defects; however their functionality is still covered under the 90-day warranty.
For Camera Licenses
Once a camera license number has been given to the recipient, there are no refunds, exchanges or credit of any kind. There are no exceptions.
For Clearance Items
Clearance items are sold without any hardware or labor warranty. All sales are final with clearance items, there is no return or exchange for these items.
Technical support is still provided by the manufacture's
support form. There are no exceptions.
Revocation of this policy
This agreement will become void if any of the conditions are true. These returns will not be processed, and it will be returned to the original shipper.
- Systems which are physically damaged
- Removal/Alteration/Manipulation/Damaged of any serial number on the product.
